Big Chicken, Kammanahalli

I stumbled upon Big Chicken by chance while exploring restaurants in Kammanahalli. Arriving around 10:00 PM, this tiny restaurant was adequately lit, with bright walls showcasing their menu offerings. Despite the modest space accommodating around 20 guests, the overall ambience was functional, if not impressive.

Unfortunately, cleanliness was a concern as I noticed pieces of chicken and fries on the floor that the staff needed to clean up.

A Feast of Fried Goodness

My meal consisted of a Fried Chicken Burger and a Fried Chicken Burger Meal, which included a Fried Chicken Burger, a sizable piece of fried chicken, French fries, and a Pepsi. Here's a breakdown of my experience:

Crispy Chicken meal - Chicken, Fries and Pepsi

  • Fried Chicken Burger: Juicy and flavorful, with a good amount of mayonnaise and a hint of lettuce, that gave out a a satisfying crunch.
  • Fried Chicken: Crispy and well-seasoned, and bet me, it was as good as the KFC Fried Chicken.
  • French Fries: Perfect fries presented on the plant and not less than the McDonalds and KFCs.
Overall, the food was good and worth the price, providing a gratifying alternative to more established fast-food chains.

My Verdict: Big Chicken's Pros and Cons

Big Chicken Positives:

  • Great Food: The fried chicken and burger were delicious, making Big Chicken a perfect alternative option to KFC.

Customer Feedback

Online reviews mirror my experience, with many praising the food and affordability, while others highlight the occasional oiliness of the chicken and overly sweet drinks. Some feel that while Big Chicken offers great food, sticking to KFC might ensure better quality and quantity.

Big Chicken Parking and Accessibility

Big Chicken doesn't have dedicated parking, but there are options for two-wheelers and cars on the road. However, finding a spot can be challenging during busy times.
