Border Parotta Restaurant: A Mahabalipuram Highway Delight

Embarking on a culinary journey down the Mahabalipuram Highway, we stumbled upon the intriguingly named "Border Parotta Restaurant." But it wasn't just the name that drew us in; it was the promise of an exceptional dining experience.

Nestled along this vibrant highway, our stay at the luxurious "Welcome Hotel by IT" indulged us with a complimentary breakfast the following day. Eager to explore local eateries and save a penny or two, we ventured out into the bustling restaurant scene.

The weekend buzz electrified the atmosphere; nearly every eatery was brimming with eager patrons. Waiting times stretched long, with one establishment requiring over an hour's patience! Clearly, the restaurant business here thrives, pulsating with life and appetite.

Luck smiled upon us as we found ourselves at Border Parotta, conveniently adjacent to our hotel. To our surprise, securing a table took a mere 15 minutes, a welcome respite from the lengthy waits elsewhere.

However, a word of advice for fellow food enthusiasts eyeing the fish selection: scrutinize the size and price before placing your order. Opt for what suits your palate and budget to avoid both overspending and food wastage.

A swift observation of the expansive and bustling Border Parotta affirmed its popularity. While the open or garden dining area beckoned, the scorching afternoon sun deterred guests from braving the outdoors.

The ambience exuded a pleasant vibe, albeit with a bustling staff managing the influx of guests. Service, understandably, wasn't lightning-fast given the restaurant's bustling nature.
