Greetings, fellow food enthusiasts! Let me take you on a culinary journey to Mulbagal Dosa Corner, a hidden gem I discovered during my recent travels from Bangalore to Chennai. My adventure began around 7:30 AM as I passed through the charming town of Mulbagal. As I was navigating the highway, an unmissable sight caught my eye - the Mulbagal Dosa Corner. To my surprise, there were not one but two restaurants with the same name! After a quick chat with the friendly security guard, I learned that both were owned by the same person. I opted for the first restaurant, intrigued by this unusual setup.

Stepping inside, I found the place bustling with eager diners. Fortunately, a table was waiting for us, and our anticipation for the famous Mulbagal Dosa grew with every passing minute.

Mulbagal Dosa Corner is renowned for its Mulbagal Dosa, a local speciality that's crispy on the outside and delightfully soft inside. To enhance the flavour, a generous amount of ghee is used, and the potato masala stuffing adds a savoury touch. The dosa is served with a side of scrumptious coconut chutney, though be warned, the chilli and garlic chutney packs quite a fiery punch.

While we eagerly awaited our dosas, we decided to sample the "Chow Chow Bath," a combo of Kara Bath and Kesari Bath. If you're unfamiliar with these South Indian delights, they're cherished by locals, and you'll find them in most vegetarian restaurants in Karnataka. Both Kara Bath and Kesari Bath were simply fantastic, and when you're hungry, food always tastes even better.

The only drawback, as you can probably spot in the pictures, is the visible oil. If you're a foodie looking for an indulgent experience, this combo is a must-try. But if you're health-conscious, a little extra workout might be in order. After all, who wants to miss such a culinary opportunity?

Now, you might be wondering why there are four restaurants with the same name in Mulbagal. Honestly, I can't say which one came first or which is the best, but my advice is to choose the one that's bustling with customers. That's usually a good indicator of a great culinary experience.

As a food and travel blogger, I usually rely on recommendations from others, but Mulbagal Dosa Corner was my own discovery. No one had told me about it, and I hadn't done any prior research. Yet, I'm thrilled to have stumbled upon this hidden culinary treasure.

So, next time you find yourself in Mulbagal, make sure to give Mulbagal Dosa Corner a visit. And if you can't make the trip, you can always buy some ID Dosa batter or any Dosa batter online and try it at home. Just don't forget to add a generous helping of ghee for that authentic taste!

Happy eating, and may your taste buds savour the crispy delight of Mulbagal Dosa.
